Below are the various ways you can get involved in the Revere Players fall and spring productions.
The onstage performers.
Cast has already been chosen for the fall play, so the following information is only applicable for the musical. Information for the musical will arrive in the spring. What Is The Cast?
The cast are the performers that bring the show to life through their acting, singing, and dancing. How Do I Audition For Cast?
Contact the director Mrs. Pine, the assistant director Mrs. Johnson, or the Players Student Board President Miah Palmer for guidance. After receiving the script, students must come to an audition and perform before being considered for cast. What Are The Different Types of Cast Members?
You can be in the ensemble and help fill in the scenes to make the show more realistic, you could play a supporting role where you have less lines but still play an important part in the story, or you could play a lead role where the whole show is based around you (lead roles have lots of lines, and they play big parts in the production process). Our Belief
Anyone can be an actor! We love to make everyone feel comfortable, especially those in their first year as acting is a very vulnerable form of art. Being part of the Players cast is truly an amazing experience as students get to meet new people and discover parts of themselves through this vibrant community. Consider taking part in Players this year!

What Is Backstage Crew?
Backstage crew is the behind-the-curtains part of all productions. As the name suggests, members help out backstage by moving props, creating some fun sound effects for the shows, changing the backgrounds of scenes, and making sure everything is perfect before the curtains open. How Do I Get Involved?
Some days after school (and sometimes over the weekend), there is an opportunity for students to paint props and backgrounds for the upcoming show, referred to as set construction! Crew members will be chosen based on commitment to set construction. Our Belief
Backstage crew is a very fun way to get closely involved with Players without being in the spotlight. Being backstage allows members to make closer bonds with one another while also being beside the cast often throughout rehearsals, tech week, and the during the show itself.
